This Warranty Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Payment Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy.

2. Manufacturer Warranty
LG products purchased through LG by Pedaca may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, depending on the product category, model, and applicable warranty terms.
Manufacturer warranties are intended to provide protection against qualifying manufacturing defects occurring during the applicable warranty period.
The exact warranty period and coverage may vary from one product to another.
Customers should refer to the warranty documentation supplied with their product or contact LG by Pedaca for clarification regarding the applicable warranty.
3. What the Warranty Covers
Subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms, a warranty may cover defects arising from manufacturing or workmanship under normal use.
Depending on the product and warranty terms, covered issues may include qualifying failures of components or parts during the warranty period.
Warranty coverage is subject to assessment and confirmation that the reported problem falls within the applicable warranty conditions.
A warranty does not necessarily cover every fault or form of damage that occurs during the ownership of a product.
4. Warranty Period
The warranty period begins according to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms, which may be based on the date of purchase, delivery, installation, or another date specified by the manufacturer.
Warranty periods may differ depending on:
Product category.
Product model.
Component or part.
Installation requirements.
Manufacturer warranty terms.
Other conditions applicable to the product.
Customers should retain their purchase receipt, invoice, order confirmation, or other proof of purchase throughout the warranty period.
5. Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase may be required when making a warranty claim.
Acceptable proof may include:
Official sales receipt.
LG by Pedaca invoice.
Order confirmation.
Other valid purchase documentation issued by LG by Pedaca.
Customers should keep their purchase documentation in a safe place.
Failure to provide sufficient proof of purchase may delay the processing or verification of a warranty claim.
6. Warranty Claims
If you believe that a product purchased from LG by Pedaca has developed a fault covered by warranty, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
When contacting us, please provide:
Your name.
Order or invoice number.
Product name and model.
Serial number, where applicable.
Description of the problem.
Date of purchase.
Proof of purchase where requested.
Our customer service team may request photographs, videos, error codes, or other information to help understand the reported issue.
Where necessary, the product may need to be inspected or assessed by an appropriate service technician or authorized service centre.
7. Warranty Assessment
A warranty claim does not automatically mean that a product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
The reported fault may need to be assessed to determine whether it falls within the applicable warranty coverage.
Depending on the manufacturer’s warranty terms and the outcome of the assessment, the available remedy may include:
Repair of the product.
Replacement of a qualifying part.
Replacement of the product where applicable.
Another remedy provided under the applicable warranty terms.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the fault, the product, the applicable warranty terms, and the assessment outcome.
8. What the Warranty Does Not Normally Cover
Unless specifically covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, warranty protection generally does not extend to damage or faults resulting from circumstances such as:
Accidental damage.
Physical damage.
Misuse or abuse.
Negligence.
Improper installation.
Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Electrical surges or unsuitable power supply.
Water or liquid damage where not covered.
Pest or animal damage.
Normal wear and tear.
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
Damage caused during relocation or transportation after delivery.
Use of unsuitable accessories, parts, or consumables.
Failure to properly maintain the product.
Commercial or abnormal use where the product is intended for household use.
Damage resulting from external circumstances beyond the manufacturer’s control.
This list is not exhaustive. The manufacturer’s specific warranty terms applicable to the product will take precedence.
9. Installation Requirements
Certain LG appliances require professional or specialized installation.
Where professional installation is required, customers should ensure that installation is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable requirements.
Improper installation may result in product malfunction and may affect warranty eligibility.
For products such as air conditioners and other appliances requiring specialized installation, customers should follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements and use appropriately qualified technicians where required.
10. Unauthorized Repairs and Modifications
Customers should not attempt to repair, dismantle, modify, or alter a product that is still under warranty unless authorized to do so by the manufacturer or an appropriate service provider.
Repairs carried out by unauthorized persons may affect warranty coverage where the fault or damage is related to the unauthorized repair or modification.
If your product develops a fault, please contact LG by Pedaca or the applicable authorized service channel before arranging repairs independently.
11. Warranty for Accessories and Components
Warranty coverage for accessories, consumable components, remote controls, batteries, cables, filters, and other supplementary items may differ from the warranty applicable to the main product.
Some components may have shorter warranty periods or may be excluded from certain warranty coverage.
Customers should refer to the warranty documentation applicable to their specific product.
12. Product Replacement Under Warranty
Where a product qualifies for replacement under the applicable warranty terms, the replacement process will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable consumer-protection laws.
A replacement product may be the same model or, where appropriate, a comparable model if the original product is no longer available.
Replacement does not necessarily restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law or expressly provided under the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
13. Warranty and Returns Are Different
A warranty claim relates primarily to a qualifying product defect or failure occurring within the applicable warranty period.
A return or refund request may arise for other reasons and is governed by our separate Refund & Returns Policy.
Customers should therefore review both policies when seeking assistance with a product.
A product returned under our returns policy does not automatically qualify for warranty service, and a warranty claim does not automatically qualify for a refund.
14. Customer Responsibilities
To help maintain warranty eligibility, customers should:
Read and follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
Use the product only for its intended purpose.
Follow recommended installation requirements.
Use appropriate electrical power and connections.
Carry out recommended maintenance.
Keep proof of purchase.
Keep warranty documentation where provided.
Contact LG by Pedaca or the appropriate service provider when a fault occurs.
Avoid unauthorized repairs or modifications.
15. Large Appliances and Home Appliances
For refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, televisions, air conditioners, and other large appliances, warranty requirements may include specific installation, transportation, maintenance, and operating conditions.
Customers should carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the product.
Where installation is required, warranty coverage may depend on the installation being performed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
16. Manufacturer and Authorized Service Centres
Where warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre, LG by Pedaca may assist the customer with the warranty process where appropriate.
The manufacturer or authorized service provider may be responsible for technical diagnosis, repair, replacement of parts, or other technical warranty services.
Service availability, response times, and repair periods may vary depending on the product, location, nature of the fault, availability of parts, and other circumstances.
17. Warranty Service Outside Nairobi
Customers located outside Nairobi may be required to follow additional procedures when making a warranty claim.
Depending on the product and service arrangements, the customer may be directed to an appropriate authorized service centre or may be provided with instructions on how the product should be presented for assessment.
For large appliances, transportation arrangements may vary depending on the product and the nature of the warranty claim.
Customers should contact us before transporting or returning a large appliance for warranty assessment.
18. Warranty Claims Caused by External Factors
A product may develop a fault due to circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
Examples may include:
Unstable or incorrect electrical supply.
Electrical surges.
Incorrect installation.
Environmental conditions.
Accidental damage.
Physical impact.
Improper use.
Unauthorized modification.
Where an assessment determines that the fault is not covered by the applicable warranty, the customer may be responsible for applicable inspection, transportation, repair, or other service charges.
Any applicable charges should be communicated before the relevant paid service is undertaken where reasonably possible.
19. Warranty Processing Times
We aim to assist customers with warranty enquiries as promptly as reasonably possible.
However, warranty processing times may vary depending on:
Nature of the fault.
Product type.
Availability of spare parts.
Service-centre workload.
Customer location.
Manufacturer requirements.
Transportation arrangements.
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will provide customers with relevant updates where information is available.
20. Customer Data During Warranty Service
When processing a warranty claim, we may need to collect or use information such as your name, telephone number, email address, order details, product model, serial number, and information about the reported fault.
This information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used for purposes related to customer support, warranty processing, service coordination, and record keeping.
21. Limitation of Warranty
This Warranty Policy provides general information about warranty arrangements and does not replace the specific warranty terms supplied by the manufacturer.
Where the manufacturer’s warranty documentation contains product-specific terms, conditions, exclusions, or warranty periods, those terms will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under the laws of Kenya.
22. Changes to This Warranty Policy
LG by Pedaca and Pedaca Technologies may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, manufacturer warranty arrangements, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
Any updates will be published on this page, and the Last Updated date will be revised accordingly.
